As of April 16th, 2009, there are 68 farm properties consisiting of 50-100 acres on the market in the Charlottesville/Central Virginia area.  Four properties have sold since the beginning of the year, giving us approximately 34 months of inventory at our current level of activity.  This is about even with this time last year, when we had 33 months of inventory and only three properties in this category had sold.  At the end of March of 2007, nine properties had sold leaving us with a 9 month supply of inventory.  Obviously those days are gone! ...<< MORE >>
